Professional Issues
As the principal umbrella organization for the profession, the AHA is in a unique position to speak to and for the concerns of the professional as a whole. In addition collecting information on the profession, the Association is often called upon to set high standards for professional behavior and excellence. In addition to the Statement on Standards of Professional Conduct, the Association developed a series of best practices for excellence in professional behavior, research and teaching.
